Bio
As an artist, my work these days delves into the ethereal and visceral, exploring the delicate balance between light and shadow, the seen and unseen. I am deeply fascinated by the translucent, almost abstract anatomical beings I create, capturing emotional moments in time. My journey in art has been one of constant exploration, always striving to avoid limiting myself while staying curious and challenging myself with each new piece.
About the Work
My primary artistic medium is digital illustration, though I've recently returned to working with acrylic on canvas or wood. This shift has helped me slow down and take more time and care with each artwork, regardless of the medium. In my digital work, I utilise a range of techniques, including 3D modelling for composition, lighting, and colour palette, as well as AI-generated assets, which I integrate into the final painting. My work often features intricate details and a sense of depth, inviting viewers to look closer and discover the layers within each piece.
About This Piece
For my CryptoCubes piece, I drew inspiration from the cube I selected from Han’s series, which was inspiring in its own right. The creation process involved roughly blocking in composition ideas in 3D and selecting the strongest one. I aimed for a more abstract, raw approach while maintaining the overall structure of the CryptoCube. This piece was one of my more experimental works, where geometric shapes, lighting, and colour were the main focus.
Future
Selling my work as NFTs and exploring various tools in Web3 has allowed me to bridge the gap between digital art and collectors. Despite the current downturn in the market, I continue to work on collections and brainstorm new ways to sell my work in the Web3 space. My experience in selling prints to my followers provided a solid foundation and prepared me for the world of NFTs, and I am incredibly grateful to those early supporters who believed in my work.
