Bio
Zand is a versatile digital artist specializing in concept design and illustration. With more than a decade of experience, his work has been featured in numerous books, magazines, and exhibitions. He has designed over 60 book covers and contributed illustrations to renowned universes such as Star Wars, Warhammer 40k, DUNE, Halo, Mortal Engines.
About the Work
Currently, he is involved in the design process for an upcoming AAA Video Game, while also pursuing his personal project, Anomaly which he passionately expresses his intimate experiences and visions in visual form.
Has developed a variety of techniques and tools, for 10 years it was all 2D Photoshop, recent years 3D tools added to the toolset such as C4D, Arnold and 3dcoat.
About This Piece
A Progressive Mind Conceives & Evolves - For this project, I aimed to narrate a story through the CryptoCubes project designed by the artist Han. My goal was to illustrate the progression of an idea, evolving step by step until arriving at that one idea you've been searching for using the 3d Set provided by HAN, Paint over by Photoshop and Motioned by After Effect
Future
Future of NFTS: To me the whole Idea to encrypting digital formats as a unique stand alone piece was genius as I always been a digital artist, though this Spring passed so fast and to me it changed and shaped more into business and trade system rather than appreciation for ART and creators, as of now I'm not sure if this will be turned into the beautiful early era or not, but I hope it will.
