Bio

Spizak is a creative outlet for London-based artist Adam Spizak.

Inspired by his favourite works of sci-fi, horror and video games - his work often combines elements of pop culture with surreal and gothic-inspired 3D art. As a self-taught 3D generalist, Spizak is focused on continuously improving and growing his skills with his ultimate goal of pixel perfection.

His adventure with computer graphics goes back to 1996, with a great impression of the early Amiga demo art scene and a passion for storytelling.

About the Work

Depending on the project, I start by making notes on ideas and saving refs and screenshots. Afterwards I usually start working on the core elements in 3D using Zbrush. Once the core model is done I try to jump into C4D and start working on the composition. This step usually is where I use Zbrush, C4D to keep working on making the idea the best it can be - I also still use refs/research to keep track of notes and build up the idea. This loop stops with the final production steps in AE/Photoshop.

About This Piece

The Eldritch Eden is a reinterpretation of the Garden of Eden, the artwork presents an eerie and mesmerising scene. The garden is crafted from jagged black rocks, creating a stark and foreboding landscape.

Golden hues glint ominously from hidden crevices, casting an unsettling glow over the scene. At the centre, a nude female figure embodies both beauty and death, her skin shimmering with a ghostly pallor. She is entwined with serpents, their scales glistening with a sinister gold, symbolising temptation and lust. The overall atmosphere is one of haunting beauty, where life and decay coexist in a nightmarish harmony.

Future

As an artist, I've been able to tokenize my work as NFTs, reaching a global audience directly and ensuring authenticity and ownership through blockchain technology.

This decentralised platform eliminates intermediaries, allowing for fairer compensation and creative freedom. The future promises even greater integration of virtual and augmented realities, creating immersive art experiences. Overall, NFTs and Web3 are paving the way for a more equitable and innovative art ecosystem.
