About the Work
My artistic practice revolves around the use of digital tools, primarily 3D, to create universes that challenge the perception of reality. I explore the relationship between architecture, landscapes, and light, designing images and films that evoke calmness and contemplation. My work has evolved from purely digital creations to materializing these ideas into physical objects, sculptures, and immersive installations, expanding the conversation between the tangible and the virtual.
About This Piece
For my CryptoCubes piece, I wanted to explore how a digital object can exist within a collective ecosystem while maintaining its own identity. Rather than treating it as a simple asset, I conceived it as a sculpture with visual and conceptual weight, playing with light and materiality within its virtual environment. Designing it was similar to sculpting in an infinite space, where every adjustment in geometry and texture impacts the final perception. This process reflects my ongoing exploration of how digital spaces can generate meaningful experiences and new forms of artistic expression.
Future
NFTs and Web3 have revolutionized digital art, not only in terms of validation but also in how artworks are presented, experienced, and have suddenly enabled the possibility of collecting them. In the past, digital creations were seen as ephemeral or lacking intrinsic value. However, this technology, beyond allowing any digital asset to be collected, has provided digital artists with the ability to sell, certify, and connect with their audience in an unprecedented way.
For me, the most interesting aspect is how it enables new interactions and narratives in art. In the future, I see an evolution towards immersive experiences where the digital and the physical coexist in an expanded and hybrid reality. One in which, just as we have physical assets, digital assets will also exist within the same combined reality.
