Cubes Workshop by Raphael Erba
Cubes Workshop
Bio
I'm a 3d animator. I love telling stories and sharing ideas with loops. You may recognize my work with characters, sort of ninjas with masks fighting with brushes, or with animations featuring my little girl.
About the Work
I've been animating for as long as I can remember, starting with motion and special effects, then moving on to 3d over the past 4 years. I've been in the NFT space for more than 3 years. The idea and feeling that a work can convey is really important to me. I've been lucky enough to have some great collectors and friends along the way.
About This Piece
I wanted to create an animation about the imaginary origin of CryptoCubes, so I imagined ninja artists with paint brushes painting Cubes. I based the animation on an existing CryptoCube, so that I could make them jump from Cube to Cube, creating a kind of endless dance.
Future
Before I started creating NFT artworks, I was already creating animations, both for customers and for myself. I didn't necessarily share what I did on social networks. Promoting my work when I started helped me gain confidence in my work and connect with a lot of artists I admired. I was lucky enough to have great collectors to encourage me and to be able to sell my work at Sotheby's and other digital art events.
I don't know what tomorrow will bring. But I continue to create and learn every day, I'm lucky enough to be able to do what I like and that's what matters most to me.
