About the Work
Fesq primarily works with digital media, focusing specifically on 3D art. Over the past seven years, he has adopted a generalist approach, engaging in a diverse array of projects. 3D art is known for its technical complexity, requiring artists to master multiple processes, including modelling, texturing, lighting, and post-production. Unlike much of traditional 3D art, Fesq gravitates towards a surreal aesthetic. His distinctive style is achieved through the use of intricate lighting techniques and texture projection tricks. This approach sets his work apart in the digital art field.
About This Piece
Fesq's collaboration on "Gravity" with CryptoCubes explores the dual nature of gravity, questioning whether it draws us together or keeps us apart. This paradox is artfully depicted in the piece's details and surreal aesthetic. The radial structure and circular camera movement evoke the orbit of planets, directly correlating to the gravitational forces at play. Through "Gravity," Fesq invites viewers to join him in contemplating the complex forces that shape our universe and relationships.
Future
I entered the NFT space in 2020, before the mainstream boom, initially drawn by the technology and its potential to open new avenues for monetizing my personal work. The most significant change for me as an artist was that this technology allowed me to monetize work that previously served only to secure more commercial contracts. This opportunity unlocked a completely different path in my career, one where my artistic vision is appreciated for its intrinsic value, beyond its commercial applications. My work is now valued in its purest form.
