Etiene Crauss, a Brazilian artist, navigates the labyrinth of human emotions in his compelling artwork, engaging with a wide array of themes, from passion and wrath to desolation and loneliness.
About the Work
I primarily work with digital art, using software such as Procreate and Photoshop to create my pieces. I also enjoy blending physical elements with digital ones, scanning textures and other components to create mixed media art. I use real photographs I take as references, draw in Procreate, and usually paint in Photoshop.
About This Piece
I decided to create an illustration in the style of my previous illustrated works, as an experiment. The inspiration came from the idea of a room with a strong cyberpunk aesthetic, designed to look like a space in the metaverse. The creation process began with a preliminary sketch, followed by setting up the scene in 3D. I rendered the image in Cinema 4D and finished it with touch-ups in Photoshop.
Future
NFTs transformed my life, turning my passion into a career. I wouldn’t have achieved the success I have today without the advent of web3 and NFTs. Although the journey is filled with challenges and fluctuations, I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. I hope that when NFTs regain prominence, we can reshape many of the old habits. Only then can we build a healthy and sustainable ecosystem.
