Bio

noCreative is a 3D artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark, he brings over 18 years of experience across multiple disciplines in the creative industry, including traditional art and fine arts photography. He is renowned for his striking and highly detailed 3D work, particularly in cloth and interior/environment design.

About the Work

His work explores the intersection of architectural spaces, landscapes, textiles, and organic movement, a theme that has been a consistent thread throughout his artistic career. His fascination with architecture and movement aims to elicit a sense of awe and magnificence, serving as a major source of inspiration. Many of his works revolve around the impact man as a species has made on nature. Poignant reflections on the nature we once took for granted and the one we now inhabit. The ongoing destruction, constantly repeated, reflected in this very moment.

His work is characterised by subtle references to painters, photographers, and various artists throughout history, adding depth and context to his creations.

As a thought leader, artist, collector, and curator within the digital art community, Kristian has established himself as a prominent figure and has exhibited his work at various venues worldwide including, Calgary contemporary, TEFAF, Art week Miami and Beijing Contemporary among others.

Kristian is also a founding member of the digital art collective BLOOM.

About This Piece

Rounded by noCreative. Rounded emerged as a deliberate creation, paying homage to the original #100 CryptoCube.

While the initial Cubes were characterized by their sharp, mathematically precise movement and cuboidal form, Rounded embraces a gentle and organic perspective, infusing the concept with a nature-esq sense of structure and a subatomic heartbeat.

In selecting shapes, colors, and style, noCreative sought to honor HANrgb's iconic aesthetics, while also drawing inspiration from noCreatives' softness.

The resulting fusion harmoniously blends elements of both artists' signature styles, creating a visual framework that clearly depicts both artists.

Technical breakdown: I’ve used Cinema 4D to create the scene. The cloth simulations were done in Houdini. Textures are hand painted in photoshop, visualized in Octane Render, as well as the lighting and camera art direction.

All post production and sound design is done in Davinci Resolve.

Future

At the moment the NFT market is looking quite bleak. It’s no surprise though.

I do hold the opinion that the technology is here to stay, provenance is provenance.

Digital art is moving into the traditional art market and sales will reflect this. We are seeing a rise in digital art commissions, with the increase of the use of digital screens everywhere.

The euphoria of 2021 is over, but REAL artists will keep making art, no matter the market. We did this before NFTs. The goals and dreams haven’t changed.
