Bio

I’m Justin Bodnar, also known as jstngraphics, a 20-year-old visual artist based in Washington State. I specialise in 3D, CGI, and animation. My work is characterised by exceptional attention to detail, vibrant colour palettes, and striking realism. By combining these elements, I've developed a unique and cinematic style that stands out. My creations are not only visually stunning but also resonate with emotional impact.

About the Work

I specialise in 3D, CGI, and animation, using Cinema 4D and Octane Render to bring my ideas to life. My techniques focus on paying close attention to details, using vibrant colours, and creating realistic, cinematic visuals. My goal is to make pieces that are both visually stunning and emotionally impactful.

About This Piece

For my artwork "STELLAR VOXEL," I aimed to capture the serene beauty of a dune landscape during a soft sunset. The piece features a mesmerising cube suspended above, radiating an enigmatic glow. To bring this vision to life, I used The Render Network to render the animation, as the scene would have taken my PC a few days to render on its own. This approach allowed me to be free from worrying about render times and the complexity of the scene, enabling me to focus on achieving detailed texturing and dynamic lighting for a captivating blend of nature and surreal wonder.

Future

I first got into Web3 and NFTs in the summer of 2020 when I was just 16, and that’s also when I started diving into 3D artwork. Creating a full series of pieces helped me become one of the top artists on SuperRare, especially in 2021. This success allowed me to upgrade to a new PC and improve my craft. I also had the chance to travel to various NFT events and meet many amazing people from the Web3 community. Looking ahead, I’m excited to see how the space evolves and to continue exploring new opportunities and connections in the world of digital art.
